H1N1 influenza virus

The main symptoms of flu are cough and fever. You may have other symptoms including muscle aches, runny nose, extreme fatigue, and occasionally vomiting and diarrhea. It is important that if you suspect you have flu that you avoid infecting others: avoid crowded places, wash your hands frequently and cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze with your sleeve/elbow if you have no tissue available.

If you need to be seen it is important that at the time you make your appointment you let the booker know that you have a cough and fever. You will be given the last appointment of the day. When you enter the office immediately put on a mask and use the hand sanitizer, before checking in at the desk. If anyone is in the waiting room stay at least one meter away from him or her. These instructions apply at all times, not just for the H1N1 influenza virus outbreak.
